Who, other than Barbie or the Mary Kay lady would be driving a pink car? None other than Regina Abdurazakova, daughter of a Kazakhstan oil tycoon. Miss Abdurazakova recently custom-ordered a stretched Cooper Mini limousine in pepto-bismol pink. Not only is it pink, but it's accented with hand-set Swarovski Crystals, and features pink flames, rook and hood murals, a Pink Panther and pink ink spots. Regina, whose name means Queen in Latin, ordered this vehicle for her two princesses, toy Yorkshire terriers, Barbie and Busya.
Designed by Kustom CarZ'n'BikeZ builder Juhan Losop in Riga, this pink million euro mini is definitely a one of a kind, unveiled at the April Riga Auto show, it is the world's most expensive classic mini. Over a million Swarovski Crystals in pink, white, black, red and golf make up a super sparkly Pink Panther crystal mosaic mural. The rims are custom made with 8cm wide Swarovski Crystals with gold plated detailing. Airbrushed painting on the other side of the vehicle reveals the name of this creation; Shagadelic Glamour.
The Shagadelic Glamour Mini Pimp Limo has six bumpers, three on the front and three on the back. They won't be bumping anything, though because there are 30 parking sensors and 20 parking cameras with 70 TFT monitors. The front wind shield is tinted with custom made natural gold window film made by Soviet space technology. The side and back windows have a pink glamour tint. In case the doggies get bored panting out the window, they can watch the 48' LCD television.
The vehicle was stretched so much that the new side windows ended up being over 3 meters long. It's a good thing they stretched this vehicle as much as they did because while it was being made, Barbie and Busya decided to start a family and by the time it was finished, there were 5 Abdurazakova Yorkies that would have to share this vehicle.
The exterior custom airbrushed paint jobs were created by graffiti artists to give it a "street" feel. The driver's door is diagonally hinged, so that it opens upwards like a chicken wing. Regina ordered a champagne cooler be built into the interior, surely that isn't for the dogs. It's the only mini with pony & snake interior and roller doors. The grill was custom created by Nataly Vinter Design Studios.
So far, this is the most expensive mini conversion on record. Designers started with a 20 year old Chelsea Mini and ended up with a stretch limo over 5 meters long. Queen Regina and her Yorkies were reportedly thrilled with the vehicle, as are custom car manufacturers Juhan Losop and his crew in Riga. The gal who set the crystals, however, didn't look too thrilled. Imagine, over a million crystals. This is the only mini pimp limousine ever built for dogs.
